Club 55.. Wine Testing Picnic
The weather will start getting warm soon, Club 55
has planned an outdoor activity for "Madira Shoukin" people. We
have planned a picnic at ALBA WINERY on JUNE 24th,2006.
Alba Winery is located in Milford,NJ. There will be an escorted tour
of the vineyard given by the owner of the winery, after the tour we
will be given 4 or 5 wines for tasting in a complementary Alba wine
glass. During wine tasting cheese & crackers will be served.
Later lunch will be served on the open grounds of the winery.
Lunch will be gourmet sandwiches accompanied by salad, soft drink
& dessert. You may buy appropriate wines from Alba winery to suit
your taste. Of course we will have fun & games, so please dress
accordingly. Please bring hats, sunscreen , picnic chairs & sheets.
Contribution for the picnic will be $20 per person,which will be
collected by Meena Deshpande. Please send your checks to Meena's
home address by June 17th. Since we have to make reservations with
the winery & the caterer two weeks in advance, we have to follow the
dead line rule.Your co-operation of timely payments is greatly
appreciated.
