Marathi Natya Parishad
AKHIL BHARATIAYA MARATHI NATYA PARISHAD has arranged weekend workshop on drama and stagecraft during October 22 to November 20. WAMAN KENDRE, the famous director of Marathi stage in Mumbai, will give the workshop. Mr. Kendre has directed several prize-winning plays like Nati Goti, Ranangan, Zulwa, Char Diwas Premache etc. Currently he is working as a postgraduate professor in Mumbai University for the Drama Department
The workshop will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm with short breaks for lunch and tea. The cost of the workshop is $100 and includes lunch and tea/coffee.
The workshops will be held in Philadelphia, Chicago, Boston, New Jersey and Houston.
In order to provide an opportunity to maximum number of individuals to participate in these workshops, the organizers are willing to make hosting arrangements for “Out of Town”ers who want to attend the workshop at the nearest location.

BMM believes that workshops on drama and stagecraft given by an experienced director will benefit the Marathi Community in North America in developing local talent. BMM is sharing this information with all the Mandals with a request to share it with individual Mandal members.
