Hi All:
I know this is a very short notice but I am counting on your love for music, your charitable instincts, and am banking on your support.
One of my very close friends runs a school in a remote part of Maharashtra for the village kids. This is a huge undertaking and they are dependant on the likes of us for support and funds. She is visiting the US, and I wanted to raise some money for her school. What better way than to get all my musiclover friends together for an evening of timeless classics, backed with full orchestral support from top notch Karaoke tracks?
So, please mark your calendars for June 23rd. The show will be in the afternoon from 4 pm to 7 pm. The venue for the show has been finalized. Here are the final details for the show.
"Sangeet ka Nazrana" -- an evening of melodious Hindi Film Masterpieces

Charity: Mazalgaon Vidyarthi Parishad -- school for underprivileged children in rural Maharashtra.
Tickets: $15 and $10 (You can pay by cash, or send a check on my name. The school has not yet been set up to accept foreign exchange checks)
The artistes:
I am honored to have two excellent singers perform with me for the show.
* Ajita Chaoji -- a talented singer with a beautiful, soulful voice, Ajita pours herself into each rendition, be it Geeta Dutt, Asha, or Lata.
* Santosh Khammamkar -- Santosh is a truly gifted artiste, blessed with a divine voice, and an ability to reproduce difficult nuances of songs with ease.
The tickets will be $15 and $10 per head and ALL the proceeds, except venue charges, will be going to the school.
Those of you who have attended shows of mine will know that they are informative and fun, and filled with an excellent selection of old Hindi film music.
Please do spread the word around and if you havent let me know already, please confirm your attendance for the show. An envelope with your name and the number of tickets you confirm will be available at the ticket counter at the venue. This will expedite the process of picking up the tickets.
